Feature: Tory Burch is devoting her energy into Women Entrepreneurs
Being nominated as the judge for this New Year’s Forbes 30 under 30 list of millennials reinventing retail and e-commerce is no small achievement for the American fashion mogul. Designer and philanthropist, Tory Burch is extending her enterprises to help future female businesswomen. With a stammering net worth of $1 billion USD and being one of the 18 self-made women billionaires in the United States, Burch has set her sights on cultivating female entrepreneurs with the help of The Tory Burch Foundation.
With programs coaching business Loans in their Capital category and cultivating Business education, it allows for women entrepreneurs to become ambassadors in the man-dominated marketplace. Burch is off to select her first round of “Tory Burch Foundation Fellows” this month; a 10K grant to enable 10 female business owners who will benefit from her mentor-ship and networking opportunities. With 30 available seats, the 10 finalists will have a chance to win a $100,000 investment in her business. This isn’t the best part, as for other striving female entrepreneurs, Burch also has a partnership with Bank of America offering low-cost loans to women in the States.

This has been a big year for Tory Burch, as of late October she announced that she had no plans of taking her brand public. And Pierre-Yves Roussel, the chairman and CEO of the LVHM Fashion Group proposed to her earlier this month. LVHM is arguably one of the most powerful fashion company around, holding on to a long list of powerhouses such as Celine, Fendi, Christian Dior, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton and Bvlgari. The couple had been dating since 2014. We can’t wait to see what else Tory has up her sleeves.by
