SPRING TREND REPORT: WHITE COLLARED TOPS & GEM-EMBELLISHED PIECES
Let’s talk Spring, let’s talk trends.
If you follow the industry runways, the du jour editorials, and it’s vigorous social media religiously, then you’ve seen the buzz around a) white collared tops; b) gem-embellished pieces; and c) crop tops. We’ve pulled together our favorites from each of the three categories for your easy viewing and perusal.
White Collared Tops
Basics have never made such a sweet comeback. Aside from wide leg trousers, white collared tops have been always been classic and timeless. This staple is effortless and a solid investment whether worn buttoned up for a clean cut look or a more casual take worn unbuttoned and half tucked. The classic white button-down has gone through it’s fair share of brilliant transitions, and these are no exceptions.
Spring’s warm weather usually calls for the pastel and floral trends, but we think it’s about time for that very expected move to change course. This season, embellished tops have made their way into enriching our closets for both day and night. The throne has been exerted by embellishments; bling is the new thing.
Last but not least, crop tops. I know what you’re thinking crop tops have been misused and designed in aptitudes for tweens who carelessly pair them with heavily distressed denim hot pants. No, that’s not the crop that I’m talking about. I’m talking about the crops who serve you to the nines as your most basic, minimalistic piece in your outfit. Primped to use as your underlaying arsenal, the cropped silhouette can be easily paired with pretty much anything (ie: tailored trousers, hiphugging skirts, fit-and-flare jeans, you name it!). Plus, this basic article comes in a plethora of prints and textures.
Now, tell us are you spring ready?
