FASHION EDITORIAL: KARLIE KLOSS FOR WARBY PARKER
Twenty-one year old supermodel, Karlie Kloss, has graced another beautiful editorial, and we just couldn’t miss covering it.
The Karlie Kloss for Warby Parker collection features affordable sunglasses for the spunky, definitive brand Warby Parker. Warby Parker’s founders Neil Blumenthal and Dave Gilboa met Karlie at a charity basketball event and just fell in love with supermodel’s charisma. The limited edition collection is set to launch on June 10th, with a 1970’s aesthetic with three differing ombré lenses. Proceeds of the eyewear will benefit Edible Schoolyard NYC, a nonprofit organization that encourages healthy eating habits for low-income public school children; the organization provides them with hands-on learning and skills to make healthier choices in their daily consumption.
The aesthetic of the new frames are retro-inspired, classic, and constructed in lightweight Japanese titanium. The collection retails for $145 a pair, with three feminine shapes titled Julia, Marple, and Clara.
This is just one of the very few ventures, Kloss has immersed herself within. Aside from her burgeoning modeling career, she has collaborated with Momofuku Milk Bar for her love of cooking and designing a range for Frame Denim.
