FASHION NEWS: NATALIE PORTMAN FOR “Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet” PERFUME SHOTS
The House of Dior has released a new short film entitled “Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet” that stars actress Natalie Portman. The star of Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan looks marvelous in the Dior Haute Couture floral dress designed by Raf Simons. The mini film directed by Sofia Coppola captures Portman on the legendary staircase in 30 Avenue Montaigne, while fashion shutterbug Tim Walker shot the campaign.
This isn’t Portman’s first stint with Dior – she’s graced the Miss Dior Eau de Toilette and Miss Dior Cherie campaign in the past – the couture line first attracted the star due to the non-profit work the brand supports.
“Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is a smooth and carefully formed perfume, not a sensory assault, but rather a halo, like an aura. It’s a “bubble ” perfume, one possessing the extreme elegance of gentleness ,” states François Demachy, the house’s exclusive perfumer-creator.
The stunning actress has several film productions in the works – “Knight of Cups” and “Jane Got a Gun” – though Portman might be moving to Paris soon. Her husband, Benjamin Millepied has accepted the position of director of the Paris Opera Ballet, the couple do plan to relocate to Paris when the new position starts in fall 2014.
