Fashion & Style: Emilia Clarke fronts her first Dior Campaign
English actress Emilia Clarke, or better known as Daenerys Targaryuen in the HBO medieval-fantasy series, Game of Thrones is the newest face for one of Dior’s latest campaign. This marks as Clarke’s first major high-fashion gig.
Fronting for Dior’s Rose des Vents fine jewelry collection, Clarke is photographed by Patrick Demarchelier. The campaign will be released this Friday in Madame Figaro, a popular magazine covering fashion and feminist topics in France. Looking effortless in a simple unbuttoned white dress shirt, the necklaces from the Rose des Vents collection draped beautifully across Clarke’s pale skin.
Rose des Vents is the first Dior fine jewelry collection to be represented by a celebrity and it’s no surprise as Clarke was sitting front-row guests at Dior’s spring ready-to-wear show, held this past October. With her taste on the red carpet, it’s a shame, she wasn’t tapped earlier by another high-fashion brand. Clarke has stepped out in everything from Balenciaga, to Dolce & Gabbana, to Oscar de la Renta and ultimately, Dior.
Clarke will be joining the roster of Dior brand ambassadors such as Marion Cotillard, Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence.by
